Thanks for your interest to join the CF community and contribute to Stratos.
In order to become an approver you need to fulfil some requirements like being a reviewer for 3 months and 20 contributions to the area.

I suggest that you start as contributor or reviewer.

That said, we have also promoted new community members to approvers on a fast track If there are reasons like a nearly orphaned area or existing approvers are about to leave. You can provide such reasons in this ticket or join the next ARI WG Meeting on 28th Oct (see Cloud Foundry Community Calendar)
Since Stratos is a rather isolated area that e.g. won't interfere with cf-deployment, I don't see problems with a fast-track promotion.

After Stratos community meeting, we will go forward with reviews and will re-evaluate after three month, per reminder by @stephanme (thanks).
